shipreck_sA woman was been arrested in connection with a pit bull attack that left two men injured in the Bronx.
According to police, Cynthia Oliver, 55, let her two leashed pit bulls go after getting into an argument with a 62-year-old man on Belmont Avenue. The two dogs then attacked the man, leaving him with a severed right ear and lacerations to his chest and arms.
A 46-year-old who attempted to help the victim was also bit and suffered lacerations to an arm. Both men were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The vicious attack was captured on video by a witness. Several people can be seen coming to the victim's aid as they struggled to get the dogs away from him.
Oliver has been charged with assault and reckless endangerment. The dogs were removed and are now in the care of Animal Care and Control.
